Horotec Double Pin Vise, Opening 0-2.8mm, 110mm Long. Fluted hollow nickel plated handle
Double-ended pin vice with fluted hollow nickel-plated handle and 2 knurled round heads.
Provided with 2 steel 4-lip chucks.
This double ended pin vice is a useful tool when you want to do something by hand that may require a more precise application.
Swiss made by Horotec
Hold it as you would a pen for hand carving and engraving on glass, stone or wood with a diamond ball burr.
Use it for bead reaming with a diamond point burr, hold cup burrs for rounding off the ends of wires.
Use it to stipple engrave on glass, or create fine hair lines or fur with a diamond point bur.
Ideal for holding many items such as drill bits, burrs, cutting broaches, taps, wires, screws and winding stems.
Each end has a collet.
Unscrew so that the teeth inside loosen and then place your drill, screw, reamer or burr inside and re-tighten.
Two collets, one holds up to 1.40mm and the other end 1.30mm - 2.80mm
When you don't want to use an electric drill, or are perhaps unable to use a drill due to health and safety issues, these little pin vices will do the trick.
