Easily fit the spring barrel cover or barrel lid back onto the barrel after replacing or servicing the mainspring with this convenient tool. Simply put the barrel with mainspring on the platform, place cover and close top. Tool is designed to provide even pressure when closing or installing the barrel lid onto the spring barrel; protecting the barrel from damage.
